BMW i8 Concept Spyder debuts in Beijing Motor Show
BMW officially unveiled their latest concept car, BMW i8 Concept Spyder at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. To be more dazzling, BMW, adding eDrive badge on the car is a useful concept to designate all the electric and plug-in hybrid cars from BMW i8 Spyder Concept in the future.
Under the hood of the BMW i8 Concept Spyder is supported by the plug-in hybrid powertrain that consists of 129 HP and 220 HP electric motor for a three-cylinder gasoline engine. In such circumstances make spyder concept cars is capable of generating power output of 349 hp and 06 lb-ft of torque, and allows the BMW i8 Concept Spyder can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 155 mph. In terms of fuel emissions, BMW i8 Spyder average spent three liters/100 km (94.1 mpg UK / 78.4 mpg U.S.) and can travel up to 30 miles to use traditional electric mode.
BMW i8 Spyder Concept almost the same shape with coupenya version. However, there are some changes include: shortened wheelbase and spyder version is equipped with a semi-transparent hood, headlights and a rakish laser with an integrated windscreen spoiler. There is a door that can open up on the rear diffuser. Inside, BMW i8 adopted a luxurious interior with leather seats are covered with choice, carbon fiber and piano black trim Accents.
