The first appearance of 2012 Peugeot 208 GTi Concept has been showcased by the Peugeot in International Geneva Motor Show this March 2012. This Peugeot 208 GTi still continues the tradition of the hot hatchback segment.

2012 Peugeot 208 GTi Concept is made in the 3-door hatchback model. The interesting decoration lies on the metal mesh grille. The lower bar of this section is accented with the country origin of the owner. For example, you can pick the Union Jack for Britain. The other prominent styling elements in GTi concept include the new wheel arch extension, aerodynamic kits, five-spoke alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, two chromed tailpipes, a neat looking rear diffuser, and the brushed aluminum GTi Concept logo.
The compartment of GTi Concept has been updated by the designers. The Alcantara with grey stitching is found as the accent on the dashboard. The pedal comes in aluminum, while the roof lining is colored in black hue. The leather steering wheel made in flat bottom design. The seat is exclusive. It is made in sporty design and trimmed in Nappa leather.

2012 Peugeot 208 GTi Concept i is fitted with 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It can generate the powertrain in the rate of 200 horsepower at 5,000 rpm. The peak torque can reach the level of 254 Nm or 188 lb-ft at 1,700 RPM. If the driver equips it with overboost technology, you can haul the torque at 203 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is obtainable in a six-speed manual gearbox linked via the front wheels. There are some other revisions for the performance of this new GTi concept. Some of them include a re-tuned suspension and 36mm wider tracks located at the front and the rear side. The braking system is available for 249mm discs at the back and 302mm discs at the front.
