Honda CR-V Prototype Concept
The photos of the new Honda CR-V Prototype Concept have been launched in the internet recently. This crossover edition is made based on the European edition. It will be exhibited soon the new Geneva International Motor Show this year. The CR-V Prototype Concept is a compact SUV from Japanese automaker, Honda. The buyers who might be interested to get the vehicle should wait until autumn for the European market. This fourth generation of CR-V is on sale now in North American market. The European design is identical with the North American version. Even though it is compact in style, the cabin is spacious and sporty.
Some parts located on the rear and front view of Honda CR-V Prototype is accented by black plastic. For this time, the designers of Honda apply less camouflage on this prototype. CR-V is a good successor who will blow the people away since it is made from a combination of the Civic coupe and sedan model. The showcar elements are represented from the appearance of the glossy black body trim as well as the wheels. Some other interesting cues include the fin antenna and front foglights accented by mesh surround.
Honda CR-V Prototype Concept is equipped with 2.4-liter V-TEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine. It can generate the powertrain at 185 hp. The transmission used to pair with the engine is available in the standard 5-speed auto gearbox. The CR-V Prototype Concept will be available in both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive systems. All of equipments are presented for the US version. The European edition of CR-V is expected to come with the 1.6-liter turbo diesel engine which can boost the power at 118 hp.
The people who live in Europe can get Honda CR-V Prototype in this fall season. The base price of this vehicle has not been officially confirmed by the Japanese carmaker.
